NautilibFrom the app or the website
Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- Open the Nautilib app, or go to www.nautilib.com and sign in.
- Tap the boat photo, at the top left of any tab.
- Tap your name, at the top of the window, to open your profile.
- At the bottom of your profile, tap "Delete my account" (« Supprimer mon compte »), then confirm.
Without access to the app
Email contact@nautilib.com from your account's email address, with the subject "Account deletion". We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name, profile photo, sign-in method and API keys.
- The boats you own, and everything in them: trips and GPS tracks, photos, voice notes and transcriptions, how-to guides and documents, maintenance, budget and receipts, fishing catches. The people you shared them with no longer have access.
- Your access to boats that others share with you.
What is kept
- Trips, catches, tasks or steps you added to someone else's boat stay on that boat, because they are part of its logbook. They are no longer linked to your account and your name is removed from them.
- Our hosting provider's technical backups, which may contain your data, are overwritten within 30 days of deletion at most. They are only used in the event of a serious outage.
We keep no other data after deletion.
Deleting a single boat
To delete a boat without deleting your account: tap the boat photo at the top left, then the pencil "Edit boat" (« Modifier le bateau »), and "Delete this boat" (« Supprimer ce bateau ») at the bottom of the page. All its data is deleted.
